New construction guide
Many Florida builders pay a buyer's agent commission, commonly in the 2% to 3% range, with occasional bonuses during promotions. It varies by builder, community and even the specific home.
| Home price | At 2% | At 2.5% | At 3% |
|---|---|---|---|
| $300,000 | $3,000 | $3,750 | $4,500 |
| $400,000 | $4,000 | $5,000 | $6,000 |
| $500,000 | $5,000 | $6,250 | $7,500 |
| $750,000 | $7,500 | $9,375 | $11,250 |
Your rebate = 50% of the commission. Ranges are typical, not guaranteed; we confirm each builder's actual terms before you visit.
New phases or slow-selling sections may pay more.
Builders sometimes add limited-time broker bonuses.
Most require the agent at or before the first visit.
Some require a signed contract within a set number of days after registration.
The commission is already built into the price. The only question is who benefits: the builder, a traditional agent, or you. With GetBuyerRebate.com, half of it comes back to you at closing.
A licensed Firelight Realty Group agent replies the same day with your estimate.
Most large builders do in most communities, but not all. We confirm before your visit.
Sometimes, during promotions or for specific homes.
The builder sets it, but your rebate share of 50% is fixed in your agreement with us.
There's no standard rate. Commissions aren't set by law and are negotiated on every purchase. Many Florida builders budget about 2% to 3% for the buyer's agent, and resale compensation depends on the seller and your agreement. Whatever we receive, half comes back to you.
No. On-site sales consultants represent the builder. Builders usually budget a separate commission for an outside buyer's agent, which is where your rebate comes from.
Tell us the builder and community. We'll confirm the commission and your rebate before you visit.
