How to keep your builder rebate

1

Contact us before any visit

Call, text or register online before you tour a model or talk to a sales rep.

2

Register us as your broker

On the builder's guest card, list Firelight Realty Group and your GetBuyerRebate.com agent. Many builders only pay agents registered on the first visit.

3

We review the contract

Builder contracts favor the builder. We review deposits, deadlines, upgrades and incentives with you.

4

Rebate at closing

Half of the builder's commission is credited on your settlement statement.

Stack your rebate with builder incentives

Your rebate comes from our commission, not the builder's incentive budget. That means you can usually keep builder rate buydowns, closing cost help or upgrade credits and still get your rebate. We help you compare offers between builders and communities.

New construction rebate FAQ

Will the builder charge me more if I bring an agent?

No. Builders set their prices with the buyer's agent commission already budgeted. If you don't bring an agent, the builder typically keeps that money.

I already visited the builder. Can I still get a rebate?

Maybe. It depends on the builder's registration policy and whether you signed in without an agent. Call us before you sign anything else.

Do I have to use the builder's lender?

Builder incentives often require it. Your rebate does not, but every lender must approve the credit. We coordinate this before you sign.

Where in Florida does this work?

Anywhere in Florida, with any builder that pays outside broker commissions.

Does the builder's sales agent represent me?

No. The on-site sales team works for the builder. Your own agent works for you, usually at no extra cost, because builders typically budget buyer-agent compensation. Register your agent before your first visit.
